We are Back Home!

Well friends, it was a long journey, but the band and Clifford made it home…safe and sound.

After our 9 day stay in Las Cruces we hit nary a snag for the rest of the trip. Thanks to everyone who we played with, the places we played at, the houses we stayed at, and the friends and strangers who came to see us.

We can only look forward to next time we get to voyage around the country with our pal Clifford.

Tour Journal Day 7

Tonight is our official SXSW showcase at Mellow Johnny’s (400 Nueces Street Austin, TX 78701) at 8pm.  If you are in Austin, we’d love to see you tonight.

So far the festival has been a blast, its a blur as usual but the weather in Austin couldn’t be nicer and we made our annual busking appearance last night at 6th and San Jaucinto.

We’ve had a great run on the way down here, playing rad shows in Atlanta, Greenville, NC & Harrisonburg VA since last time we updated.  Super thanks to MacRock for putting us on in Harrisonburg, check out their festival that is happening at the beginning of April. Looks rad, we’ll definitely apply for next year.

Also super thanks to Jay from Greenville who runs a place called Live Bar, where we played. One of the most passionate club owners we’ve ever met who runs an awesome establishment and showed us great kindness. To any touring bands, I’d highly recommend checking out the Live bar in Greenville NC.

Smith’s Old Bar was fun too, super thanks to Mark Chitwood for coming out to see the show its awesome to see fans so far from home.

On the way down we stopped at the Appomattox Court House in VA which was awesome and camped in a bunch of rad state Parks.  More updates soon.
